Hi friends,
One of my classmate is suffering with Kidney failure. Unfortunately Sandeep's both kidneys are damaged and beyond repair. His survival rate without a transplant is very bleak. And the only ray of hope, for him to continue a normal life like anyone of us is through a transplantation.
Everyone has their own shares of problems in life. But Sandeep's life has been a very difficult and struggling, right from his early days. Just a few lines about him & his family. Sandeep is from a middle class family. His native place is a small village in khammam district. He lost his father right after schooling. This added more responsibilities and burden on his shoulder to look after his family's needs, apart from funding himself to continue education. He somehow managed to complete his graduation. But unfortunately to add to his woes, he was diagnosed with jaundice. It was at very later stages and he was in a very serious condition. But by God's grace (not sure if this the apt word to say) he survived. But I guess to see this day and to live through this sufferings.
With all the hardships, he never let down his studies or never let anyone know how life has been treating him till date. He remained a topper through out his academic career.
As a dutiful brother and son, he fullfilled his parents responsibility, by conducting his sister's marriage, some time last year.
After completing his Master's in Computer Science and also fulfilling all his current responsibilites, he moved to Hyderabad, in search of decent job, which would end his woes/difficulties. He found a job as a faculty member in one of the institutes, while his search to get a job in a software company still continued.
But again, bad luck or ill fate again played against him, and here is struck with this illness, which has drained him out completely in all ways.
It’s time for us to prove that we are human beings. We are urging for your help to save his life. Let’s send him a strong message by motivating him that we all are there to support him.
Now there are various ways that we can help Sandeep ?
1. In your friends, relatives, family friends, neighbours , colleagues at your workplace or from any contacts from trusts ,NGO’s etc... you would be aware of doctors, proficient or who is aware of some one in that field or any one who can help in this regarding. Please explain the situation, the best way you can. 2. Sandeep can lead a normal life if he can get a donor (O+ or O- Blood group kidney). His mother is having diabetics and doctors say that she is not a suitable donor.
3. He’s currently undergoing dialysis in Narayana Hospital, Nellore. He is financially supported by government sponsored scheme called arogyasri. However this scheme does not cover any medicines. The expenses incurred to buy medicines is quite huge and unmanageable, with him being the only breadwinner in the family.
He is currently undergoing dialysis weekly twice to continue to live. But as per doctors this cannot go on for ever and a transplantation is must ASAP. So we his friends sincerely request one and all to kindly help him in whatever manner you'll can.
Daily we spend at least 20 to 30 minutes on internet. Spend at least some part of that time on internet and search for some trusts or places where complete treatment can be done in free or where kidney donations will be given for kidney transplantation or who can help financially. Collect everything which is useful. Pass on the information.
Helping hands is better than praying Lips. So extend your hands forward for help. Presently Sandeep is undergoing treatment in Nellore. You can reach him at 91-9966085882 and provide him moral support and strength.
